What’s happening?

Over the past couple of weeks, those of you with a Microsoft O365 Subscription would have received an email from Microsoft notifying you of their upcoming Office 365 name change.  Microsoft will be updating the names of its SMB Office 365 subscriptions from the 21st April 2020.

The good news is that there are no price or feature changes for these subscriptions and there are no changes to the Enterprise, Education or Government subscriptions.

What does this mean for you?

The Office 365 Business subscriptions will now move under the Microsoft 365 for Business subscriptions, which includes Office 365 Business Essentials, Office 365 Business Premium, and Microsoft 365 Business.  There are also a couple of changes for the standalone apps too.  To help, please see below:

Do you need to do anything?

Don’t worry – you don’t need to do a thing. Your product services, apps and features will stay the same, along with the price. Your subscription name will update automatically in the admin centre and your monthly billing statements on or after 21 April 2020.
